Endings are just beginnings in disguise
Blessings, beautiful souls!
Samhain blessings to you on this eve before the Celtic New Year!
I am writing this from my spiritual home in Avalon, also known as modern day Glastonbury, UK.
It is here where I feel the love of the Goddess/Divine Feminine strongly, where the sacred soils remind me of the many foot steps that were placed here in lifetimes long ago. It is where the Sacred Feminine and Masculine come together in beautiful harmonious union knows as the hieros gamos - within and without.
Every year (not counting the great pause), I have made pilgrimage to these lands since 2016 when I heard the call from the Goddess to remember and reclaim my power as a priestess and wise woman. SHE ushered me into the next version of myself - it wasn't easy. In fact, it was down right challenging.
I had to say goodbye to so many things and so many versions of who I thought I was, what I thought I wanted and who I thought I would be.
This last Wheel of the Year was no easier. In truth, it was the hardest year I had experienced emotionally, physically and mentally since my beloved father passed way in 2010. What is that saying, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger…well no, it doesn't.
In truth, at it's worst, it makes you tired, stressed, despondent, defeated and absent of joy.
At it's best, it makes you humble. It cleanses you. It clarifies what is the most important for you to live fully and with presence in your one beautiful, magical life.
This is what it did for me.
And on this eve where the veil between the worlds has thinned, where the New Moon in Scorpio peaks and the cycle of one Wheel of the Year is complete, I invite you to ask yourself where in your life do you need to let go? What do you need to say goodbye to?
Trust that when you do, the surrender will be sweet. For my lovely ones, endings are just new beginnings in disguise.
